NIMBY'S New Theme Song....a One and a Two....

From the Desk of Jonathan Travers:
During my research, I came across the new Theme Song for the Dull, Dimwitted Dorchester NIMBYS who are against MAPP. Even though they really have no clue of what reality is……They Are Against It!!!!

Enjoy and I have placed the words below so you too may sing along!!

I don't know what they have to say,
It makes no difference anyway,
Whatever it is, I'm against it.
No matter what it is or who commenced it,
I'm against it.

Your proposition may be good,
But let's have one thing understood,
Whatever it is, I'm against it.
And even when you've changed it or condensed it,
I'm against it.

I'm opposed to it,
On general principle, I'm opposed to it.

[chorus] He's opposed to it.
In fact, indeed, that he's opposed to it!

For months before my son was born,
I used to yell from night to morn,
Whatever it is, I'm against it.
And I've kept yelling since I first commenced it,
I'm against it!

The Fanatical Fallacy Of The Citizens Advisory Committee

I attended a MAPP meeting in the first part of December that was held in Cambridge. The purpose of the meeting was for the Citizens of Dorchester to have their informed input with the direction and construction of the MAPP transmission power line.
Well the meeting started out well with the moderators getting input from everyone on the appointed committee, those from Delmarva Power, and other informed people on the subject.

The exercise was the type that most large corporation use to first, identify issues “pro and con,” discuss and recommend the solution that best addresses the task at hand. This exercise has served many large corporations well giving them the best direction to take their business plan.

The problem started though when the target was being narrowed down to which route MAPP should take, and it appeared that the “Choptank River Route,” was being identified as the solution to MAPP's and the citizens of Dorchester’s best interest.

You could see it on the faces of those whom had themselves appointed to the Citizens Advisory Committee. It was as if a switch within their brain went from somewhat logical input to instant Whining Mode! Comments such as, “Well I’m not qualified to give the answers or comment on that Choptank River Route because I’m not an engineer! I don’t know enough about the subject to give a recommendation!?!?!? I can’t do that!!?!!

After everyone else sat there listening, educating themselves on the subject to make an informed decision for themselves, the reality outcome of the meeting was very evident for everyone else at the meeting that those sitting on the “Citizens Advisory Committee” were nothing more than a group that did not want to be part of the problem solving solution but their purpose was nothing more than to represent a bunch of “Nihilistic Whining!”

From my travels around the county and informing Citizens of Dorchester on what happened at the MAPP meeting, it is evident to the majority of the citizens of Dorchester that it is because of these type of people that Dorchester is as far behind the rest of the state in employment, what employment there is has a well below average in monetary pay, education of the population as a whole, and the loss of population from people leaving the county to places better.

News update:
Not only "Trail" but now "Path" has been approved which means the MAPP plan will be approved soon.

On another positive note, I was glad to see Libby Nagel wearing her Mickey Mouse ears demonstrating her “Stupidity Flag” for all to see. Glad I’m getting to you Libby and allowing me to expose you for what you really are. A dullard, dimwitted, dunce, ignorant of any true facts on the MAPP’s subject.
